Today was a lot better than expected! I had the EN>JP paper, which I totally suck at, but it was actually OK!

I was feeling REALLY awful this morning but 1) I saw my favourite teacher and she was lovely and 2) when the exam began, I read through the paper and looked at the essay titles. What did I find?

Also, I came back and discovered a box full of mould on my desk, lulz. Which did explain the smell... >_>;;

So today's exam was supposed to be the easiest.

No game has ever come close to rivalling Gold -- I can't wait to play the pimped version. :3 *so excited*

Today I am glad to be out of the loop regarding Naruto fandom.

Now, I'm very fond of both Kakashi and Shizune. I did that emo post when Shizune died, remember? I've loved Kakashi from the very beginning (and I've been a Naruto fangirl for quite some time).

But they should've stayed dead.

Kishimoto, you're an awful storyteller. Kill off some good guys for a change and don't use Naruto's fucking Jesus no Jutsu on all of the bad guys.

How come on the one day when Queens' Internet is down all day it's released that MIYAVI'S COMING BACK TO THE UK!!!!!!

Because Cambridge is so ~*~special~*~, it doesn't have weeks like the rest of the world: the week begins on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday. It's stupid and confusing.

So when our lecturer asked for our essays to be in 'at the end of the first week back', we assumed Wednesday.

Why am I ill now? I came back to College this morning: now is not the time for not being able to swallow, copious tissue use, lingering headaches and coughing that makes everywhere hurt.

Why couldn't this have happened last week, when I could've snuggled up with Dumpy and got my Mum to look after me? I haven't even be able to put my lovely Mello wallscroll back up again, yet. ;o; I did manage to go out shopping and buy a load of Death Note DVDs, though...

I've just spent six and a half hours with three of my friends making a cake for our teacher. XD

He's going back to Japan, so tomorrow's our last lesson with him and we're all very sad. ;o; So we are showing him our love using a big ol' chocolate cake with the kanji for 'sensei' written in crushed-up white chocolate buttons.

We are the best class ever. :3

Sometimes I wonder if it's worth coming to Cambridge at all: you just get here and it's time to go home again. I mean, there are still bags laying unpacked on the floor from when I arrived! XD

We finish our textbook this week, which implies that we're well-versed in the foundations of Japanese, with a knowledge of around 600 kanji. Which I suppose is sort of true, seeing as next term, we're reading texts. You know, like Japanese people do.

Considering that that's the result of roughly 16 weeks' worth of term-time work, that's fucking phenomenal. o_o
